Stake weekly and monthly bonuses, explained

Published 29 August 20265 min read

Stake pays two recurring bonuses to VIP members — weekly and monthly — and both are sized from your wagering over the previous period. They're the part of the VIP program that grows fastest with tier, and the reason high-volume dice players care what day it is.

Weekly bonus

  • Who: Bronze VIP and above.
  • When: Every Saturday. Stake posts it as a claimable code/offer; you have a limited window to claim it.
  • How much: Calculated from your wager during the previous 7 days and your VIP tier. Stake doesn't publish the formula; in practice it scales roughly with (wager × tier multiplier), so a Gold player wagering the same as a Bronze player receives more.

Monthly bonus

  • Who: Bronze VIP and above; Platinum+ typically get a host-assigned amount on top.
  • When: Around the 15th of the month, based on the previous calendar month.
  • How much: Larger than weekly for the same wager. Like the weekly, it's derived from turnover and tier, and it's where most of the "value" of higher tiers shows up.

Level-up bonus

Separate from the two above: every time you cross a tier (including each Platinum I–VI sub-level) you receive a one-off level-up bonus, delivered by the VIP host or as a claimable. Sizes rise with tier.

How wager feeds in

All three bonuses are ultimately a rebate on the house edge you paid. The rough mental model:

Because they're all downstream of wager, a dice bot is the most efficient way to generate them — and also the most efficient way to pay the edge they rebate. Do the math before treating a bonus as a target: at 1% edge, $100k of wager costs ~$1,000 in expectation; the bonuses return a fraction of that, not all of it.

Planning a session around them

  1. Front-load wager early in the week/month if you're close to a tier — the level-up bonus lands sooner and the next weekly is calculated at the higher tier.
  2. Use low-variance strategies for the grind. Flat betting at 90–98% or a capped martingale generates turnover with a small chance of busting before Saturday. High-variance recovery strats can wipe the balance you'd have collected the bonus into. See strategy families.
  3. Vault the bonus when it lands. Bonuses are credited to your balance; if a bot is running, it's now betting the bonus. Set DiceStrats' auto-vault so it moves out of reach.
  4. Check the panel header. DiceStrats shows tier and progress next to your username during a run — useful for seeing whether one more hour tips you over a level.

Rakeback from day one, instead of waiting for Bronze, is what the DICESTRATS promo code enables. The weekly and monthly bonuses still require Bronze.
