Stake VIP levels and rakeback, for people who wager a lot

Stake's VIP program is driven by one number: total wagered. That makes it unusually relevant to anyone running dice strategies, because a bot generates wager faster than any human — and the rewards partially offset the house edge that wager costs. Here's how the ladder works and what actually comes back.

The ladder

Thresholds are Stake's published figures at time of writing; they occasionally shift, so treat them as approximate and check your own VIP page for the live number.

Progress is shown as a percentage toward the next tier. DiceStrats reads this from your own session and shows it in the panel header next to your username — ◆ Platinum · 63% · ⤶ rakeback — so you don't have to leave the run screen to check.

What rakeback actually is

Rakeback returns a percentage of the house edge on your bets — not a percentage of what you wagered. On dice the edge is 1%, so with 5% rakeback you get back 5% of 1% = 0.05% of turnover. It accrues in real time and you claim it from the VIP page (or the panel shows the claimable balance per currency).

Rakeback is normally unlocked by reaching Bronze or by signing up with a promo code — the DICESTRATS code enables it immediately, which is the practical reason to use one.

Weekly, monthly and level-up bonuses

On top of rakeback, VIP members get a weekly bonus (paid Saturdays, based on the previous week's wager and tier), a monthly bonus (mid-month, based on the previous month), and a one-off level-up bonus each time you cross a tier. Why this matters for strategy runners

Take the numbers from the house-edge math: a bot betting $1 at 3 bets/second wagers ~$10,800 an hour and expects to lose ~$108 of it. That same hour earns ~$5–10 of rakeback and moves you ~10% of the way to Bronze. It does not make botting profitable — nothing does — but it changes the effective edge from 1% to roughly 0.9–0.95%, and the weekly/monthly bonuses at higher tiers push it further.

The strategy families that suit VIP grinding are the ones with high turnover and low variance: flat betting at 90–98% chance, capped ("never negative") martingales, and Paroli. High-variance recovery strats generate wager too, but you may bust before the bonus lands. See the strategy guide.
